having a university degree in history, she directs the Ukrainian studies section at Inalco. Responsible for numerous publications including Marko Vovchok, a Ukrainian George Sand (Cahiers Ivan Tourgueniev, 2013), Taras Chevchenko (Slovo, 2015), The Great Famine in Ukraine: Knowledge and Recognition (2016), etc. She has also translated numerous Ukrainian authors, including Andrukhovych, Zhadan, Zabuzhko and Matios. She co-directs the Ukrainian Presence collection at Harmattan editions, where she notably published the Stories of Oleh Sentsov. Her latest book is dedicated to Édouard Herriot's 1933 trip to the famine-ravaged Ukraine.
