Anna Kozyrytska

Anna Kozyrytska is a director, poet, and playwright with a remarkable artistic journey. Born in the village of Shyroka Balka in the Kherson region of Ukraine, she spent 17 years living and working in Kyiv before relocating to Italy following the outbreak of war. Over the years, Anna has collaborated with various Ukrainian theatres as a stage director, bringing both classical and contemporary works to life. Eventually, she ventured into playwriting, crafting her own dramatic narratives. One of her plays, ALICE, was successfully staged in Wuppertal, Germany, as part of the production Sorry You Found Out.
