British Theatre in Kyiv on Dec 08 and Dec 10. An important solidarity gesture from Great Britain – a Theatre tour to Ukraine with a performance in December.

British Finborough Theatre brings to Kyiv a Ukrainian premiere of “Pussycat in the Memory of Darkness” by Neda Nejdana. Play is translated into English by John Farndon.

“I want to report a robbery…I was robbed. What was stolen from me? Almost everything…Home, land, car, work, friends, city, faith in goodness…’” – says the main character. A play written by a prominent Ukrainian playwright Neda Nejdana gets you to the very roots of russian war against Ukraine through the eyes of a refugee woman holding 3 kittens. Directed by Polly Creed. Performed by Kristin Milward.

“Pussycat in the Memory of Darkness” was premiered in London this year and was very well received by the audience and critics.
