Following the large-scale Russian invasion to Ukraine, the National Theatre of Cluj-Napoca in Romania initiated a project Wartime Theatre to express support to their colleagues in Ukraine as well as to citizens of Ukraine in general.

Three dramatic texts by Natalia Vorozhbyt, Tetiana Kițsenko and Natalia Blok were given a voice to speak about the tragedy unfolding in Ukraine. The project organizers are firmly convinced that it is important to be aware of what is happening to make people around the globe more empathetic and to prevent everyone from forgetting about the appalling events taking place in the neighbouring country.

The project proved to be a successful collaboration of the director Ionuț Caras and refugees from Ukraine Anastasiia Fedotova and Pasha Fedotov who provided for costume design and live music.
