Before the full-scale war, Kseniia studied acting at FiLm.ua School in Kyiv. After the invasion began, she left Ukraine at age of 16 and moved to Nuremberg, where she took part in charity concerts supported by Nürnberg Stadt Theater and Svitlana Mikhalchenko.
In 2023, she relocated to the UK and completed an Acting Foundation Year at Edinburgh College. There, she wrote her first play, Christmas in the Shade, as part of the Class Act project in collaboration with Traverse Theatre, performed by Matthew Zajac and Maureen Beattie OBE.
Her work has since been showcased in London at Finborough Theatre and Cockpit Theatre, alongside other contemporary Ukrainian plays.
Kseniia also works in translation, collaborating with British author John Farndon. Their recent joint work includes a translation for the Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies at the University of Alberta: “Ten Interviews with Crimean Tatars” (2008), conducted by Emine Ziyatdinova, translated by John Farndon with Kseniia Koziievska, Hanna Komar, and Alexandra Smerechanska.
She is currently developing a new play about the Berezil Theatre, funded by Dogstar Theatre. In 2025, she began her studies at the prestigious Oxford School of Drama.
