Andrii Hryhoriev

Андрій Григор'єв

Andrii Hryhoriev. I was born and currently live in the city of Kovel, Volyn region in 1978. I have a higher education degree in economics. I worked at the tax inspection service. Before the full-scale war, I worked in Poland for two years. I am married and have a son.

Until 2022, I was deemed unfit for military service. In 2023, I asked doctors to allow me to serve. I served in the 100th Separate Mechanized Brigade (formerly the 100th Territorial Defense Brigade). Until April 2023, the brigade was responsible for guarding the Ukrainian–Belarusian border. Later, it was redeployed to the Lyman direction, in spring 2024 to the area near Ocheretyne, and in summer, after reinforcement, to the Toretsk direction.

On November 5, 2024, I was wounded as a result of a KAB airstrike. Two of my comrades who were just a few steps away from me were killed.

On February 24, 2025, I underwent prosthetic fitting. During my rehabilitation at the Unbroken center, I joined a theater group. In June 2025, I returned to Kovel. Since mid-October 2025, I have been working as a specialist supporting war veterans and demobilized persons at the Social Services Center.
