Despite having been actively involved in drama translation for over 20 years, I made my debut as a playwright in 2020 by participating in the Second Drama Laboratory organized by the National Union of Theatre Workers of Ukraine. My play "The Dreamcatcher" was showcased as a finalist at the Festival of Modern Drama in Kyiv. Since then, I have actively written for both adults and children.

Several of my plays for adults have been recognized in Ukrainian and international theatre festivals. "Once Upon a Time There Lived a Rooster" was long-listed by the "July Honey" drama competition in 2022, and "Heartbeat" was long-listed in 2023. My play "The Chronicles of the Lost Soul," written in the first months of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, was selected by the jury of "Parade-Fest" and published in the "Anthology24" in 2022. In 2023, it was chosen for production by London's "Reboot Festival" and presented during a three-week event. The same year, it was featured in the "Drama Panorama 2023," an edition of Ukrainian plays that included the year's top ten plays representing local and international competitions.

In 2023, my play "Over the Hills and Far Away" was shortlisted by a jury and presented as a performative reading at the "Spark Festival" in Inverness, Scotland.

My mono-plays have also received acclaim. In 2021, "The World Without a Face" was long-listed in the adult section of the "July Honey" drama competition, and "Red Army Failure" was among the winners at the "Batumi International Festival of Monodrama" in Georgia.

My children's plays have gained recognition as well. "Christmas in the Count's Palace" was shortlisted for the "A Week of Contemporary Play: Kids" festival in 2021, and "Danko and the Runaway Dragon" in 2020. Two of my plays for children, "The Dolphin Bay" and "The Detectives of the Stone Jungle," were long-listed in the "July Honey" drama competition in 2021. That same year, "The Dolphin Bay" won the children's drama category at the "Korneychukovkyi Festival."

To enhance my skills in writing original works, I pursued advanced studies in playwriting at the University of Oxford in 2023 and literary creativity at the University of Glasgow the same year. Additionally, I completed a course in creating audio drama at the Moniack Mhor Centre for Creative Writing in Inverness, Scotland, in 2024.
