An adult daughter reunites with her mother after many years of separation. The mother left Ukraine back in the 1990s and has been living abroad. The daughter comes to her, fleeing from the war. The relationship between the mother and daughter is complicated. The daughter tries to understand why her life has turned out unsuccessful, why at 50 she has neither a husband nor children. Is her mother to blame for this?
This is a play about the impact of childhood trauma on adult life.
