Romana Štorková Maliti

Romana Štorková Maliti is a Slovak theatre critic and translator from Russian. She currently works as a curator of the International Theatre Festival "Divadelná Nitra".

Since March 2025 she has been working as a curator of the "Nová komedie" and "Month of Ukraine" festivals organized by the Prague City Theatres.

She studied theatre studies at the Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and ethnology at the Comenius University in Bratislava. As part of her postgraduate studies at the Institute of East European Studies of the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague, she focuses on the poetics of contemporary drama in Russian language.

From 2001 to 2012 she worked at the Theatre Institute in Bratislava. She was also engaged in critical, dramaturgical and acting activities.

From 2016 to 2018 she worked at the Museum of Czech Literature in Prague, and from 2020 to 2023 she collaborated with the National Theatre in Prague as an external lecturer for educational projects and a consultant for the residency program for Belarusian playwrights.

She compiled an anthology of contemporary Belarusian drama by female authors DRAMA.BY (Brno, 2023) for the publishing house "Větrné mlýny".

Publishes scientific research in anthologies and academic journals.
