Dr. Irina Lappo is a theater theorist, Slavicist, translator, and ethnolinguist. She graduated in Polish Studies from the University of Saint Petersburg and earned her doctorate and habilitation from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, Poland. Her academic pursuits encompass the theory and history of theatre and drama, theatrical reception, ethnolinguistics, and the theory and practice of translation.
